Bristol Hospice, L.L.C. and Stillwater Medical Center form Joint Venture for Hospice – Judith Karman Bristol Hospice, L.L.C.

Stillwater Medical Center announced today it has formed a Joint Venture with Bristol Hospice, L.L.C., a nationally recognized hospice provider, to form Judith Karman Bristol Hospice, L.L.C. Judith Karman Bristol Hospice, L.L.C. will operate a hospice program in the same location in Stillwater. Judith Karman Bristol Hospice will serve the patients and families previously served by Judith Karman Hospice and will offer comprehensive hospice care to all Stillwater area residents and their families.

Judith Karman Bristol Hospice, L.L.C. will offer an expanding continuum of care that focuses on a family-centered approach to providing specialized clinical care to hospice patients by compassionate caregivers and interdisciplinary professionals. They will utilize Bristol’s proven care and management model, which is successfully replicated in several regions across the United States and will voluntarily seek Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) accreditation.
The Judith Karman Bristol Hospice program will be designed to promote quality and comprehensive hospice services to patients, families, and communities with a comprehensive suite of clinical specialties and supportive care. It’s licensed and certified programs offer individualized care plans to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of hospice patients and their families.

Judith Karman Bristol Hospice’s interdisciplinary group of professionals and volunteers work closely with patients and families to develop care plans appropriate to the patient’s illness that provide a range of services including nursing, hospice aide services counseling, spiritual support, therapy, dietary, volunteer services and bereavement care.
Bristol Hospice LLC was founded in 2006 and currently operates or advises programs within several communities in California, Utah, Georgia, Texas, Hawaii, Oklahoma and Oregon. Bristol Hospice is a long standing member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
